My factory Kimber mags look to be crimped on the bottom and are the biggest piece of shit I've ever owned. Damn things won't load hp ammo

Kimber Pro mags work flawlessly, come with 3 different base plates and cost around $30.

My kimber mags are welded on the bottom.  Can you see any tack welds on yours?

they work 100%

If you really need base pads, just glue (or screw) some rubber or plastic to the bottom.

If you look online you can find the Kim-Pro Tac Mags for about $17.  Just google shop it.

Get basepads from Midway or Brownells, tap the two holes on the bottom of the Kimber mags, then screw on the basepads.
