Sorry not 56k friendly. Here's my new 1911 I just recently acquired. I wanted a handgun and was pretty much settled on a p229, until I handled the 1911's. I am assuming Smith and Wesson are middle tier quality, but they have a lifetime warranty so I bit.
It is 4.25", pd model with crimson grips. Take a look at the barrel pic too. Is that copper or corrosion in the barrel?

| I wouldn't say they are 2nd tier. I have two Performance Center SW 1911's and they are quite nice. I just bought another with fixed sights. As for what is in your barrel that is not corrosion, rather copper that is left behind from the bullet. If you shoot your gun it will get on it again. |
