I'm thinking of getting a couple of Mech-Tech's carbine uppers for one of my 1911's.  I'm looking at the .460 and the .45.  Anyone have any feed back on them?  Are they good or crap?  Also, where can I get one?  I called them a couple of times and left a message, still no dice?

Thanks

I've never shot one but I did pick one up and hold it at a gun show a few months ago.  I was suprised at how well built it appeard to be.  The one I held was on a Glock lower but it was much better that I had expected it to feel.

have on in 45acp.
you need a std saftey for saftey function any type of extended saftey and the gun will not go safe.

You also need an extended ejector a stock ejector will get jams.

Fun little toy that sits in the back of my safe no longer being used since i picked up a 9mm ar type rifle.
