I've always wanted a high end 1911, and have always liked the Springfield Professional. In light of the current political situation, I've decided I better buy now or (possibly) forever hold my peace.

The question for Arfcom is do I get on the waitlist for a Springfield Pro and wait the 8 months, or do I go out and buy a Wilson CQB or a Nighthawk Talon now?

Unfortunately, I cannot do as any respectible arfcommer would do and buy both, simply don't have the funds. What would you guys do?

But thats up to you what I would do is erelavent. So my friend you have to figure out whats good for you so good luck on your choice. there all great 1911s I think you would be happy with anyone of them . hope I helped

I'd pick the one with the features you want.  The Pro pretty much comes as you see it.

So two votes for the Wilson...

This is the first time I've really been torn as to what to get. I usually havesome kind of preference, but not being able to handle the guns makes it a bit more difficult.

Granted, an ideal world permits you to hold, carry, and try out whichever platforms before buying, but this is a dilemma between a weekend with Miss Rumania, and the two-time defending Hawaiian Tropic girl. How the hell do you lose? Pick the one that appeals to you most.

As for me, I have a Wilson and never regretted my decision. I'd get another in a heartbeat, but I would also love to get my hands on a Pro.
