I was wondering if anyone is using one of these (PIC) with a TRL-1 and a Safariland 6004 holster? If so which 6004 best fits this combo?

I believe that's the one that clamps in front of the trigger guard.

Yeah. did some investigating and figured it out. As I am not a super-ninja specops guerrila warrior it will likely do the job of holding a light to my 1911 if the zombies aren't polite enough to wait until daytime.

Speaking totally from ignorance. I read over on either m199 forums or 1911 forums that mounting from the trigger guard could pose a risk to the structural integrity of the trigger guard.

I'm using a mr07 for my kimber, and it seems pretty strong. It mounts through the slide release lever hole.

I can't attest to putting it in a safariland6004. I've looked into the poissiblity of doing that with my mount as they have a version for the mr07. Its a thigh rig, I was looking for a belt holster.

Don't know about this product, but I had a flashlight mount from CA(Crap Arms), and it sucked. It didn't hold the light it was supposed to, was impossible to mount to the pic rail without major modification, and was just plain junk.
