I was wanting a Riot Shotgun & Glock 17 (Used ) but an Offer I can't Refuse has been made ! Around a Week or Week and a half of Labor (by me) for an older gent (Former FFL) who wants a medium sized Mobile home moved out and away from a small homebuild built around it ,and a larger one put in it's place ! Plus some light construction/hauling and landscape after... He likes to barter(As do I) so (He took me to a storage facility and let me pick out some Firearms as Payment for my services OUT OF TWO HUGE GUNSAFES) I picked a Fairly new Mossberg riot gun with heat shroud and 2 Barrels (long & short) but it has a Wood stock on it (Painted black) insted of synthetic ( Which I will strip and refinish in blond and find blond pump furniture also for wood Furniture look (Which I want ) Value around $150.00 and second gun a Colt 1911 45 cal auto pistol which is a early WW2 ? era military (US Government issue) or (US Army) and very used and very original looking ! It is like ones on Gunbroker.com for $800.00 to $3000.00 ! (He said he has had 45 for 35+years as his Truck Pistol ) and as there are lotsa other guns to choose from (The 45 was the only Milsurp) I think I chose wisely for my wants/needs ! Will take Pistol & shotgun to current FFL for transfer when job is finished ...
