Picked this up this old waterproof first aid kit at the local surplus store today after work and I couldn't decide what to use it for.... then it came to me. Closed  Opened  Its boating accident proof!  Just felt like sharing.

Nice! I've got about 3-4 of those kits,but they're white. My Dad used to give me the old kits whenever he would up-date the ones in his office. You know what you should do? Buy some foam and cut it so the pistol and spare mags will fit without moving around. |

"Its boating accident proof! " Why would you want that? Someday that gun might have to fall over a boat and it would be in your best intrest in letting it goto the bottom. Not bad though. If you don't have a safe this will do until then. Then you can load that box with spare parts/magazines and other essential 1911 gear. |
