I'm considering getting a Rock Island 1911 soon who has one? how do they feed JHP's? I have heard some lower cost 1911's have issues with feeding them reliably what ones should I look out for? |
| save your money, on the upgrades youll need to get it to feed all JHP's and look at a taurus PT-1911 or an STI spartan both around $600 bucks. The RIA and Springer GI I bought both had issues eating Speer Gd's and even hornandy XTP's but my Taurus has gone 3,000 rounds with one jam and Ive only put 100 rounds through my spartan and no brass marks are on the ramp so Its a good sighn. |
