so can anyone tell me what is the difference between them is?

The TLE has tritium night sights and 30 LPI front strap checkering, and the Custom 2 does not. Everything else is the same.

I have a TLE and I absolutely love it. I think that the night sights and checkering are well worth the extra cost over the Custom, but if those options are not important to you the Custom 2 is a solid gun.

custom II: base line kimber; has 'loaded', semi-custom features, such as beavertail, cut sights, Al trigger, match stuff, etc

TLE: simply a CS II, only w/ night sights and 30LPI checkering
