show them as 70 series....

at one time Colts part no's with a 70 indicated it was a 70 ser.  so GC, 70 repo, Special Combat were all 70 series.

For example O1070A1CS   O for O model (1911) 10 Stainless , 70 series, a1 a repo
just like the 38 super and and 1991 have 91's in the part no....

But then the 1911 repo was O for 1911 and the rest was 1911.

The model #'s have nothing to do with the gun being a 70 or 80 series, all current production Colt 1911s are series 80 with the exception of the WW I replicas and the Series 70 custom replica.
