I'm looking for a GI-profile (tang hammer) grip safety that also has a palm swell. So far, I can't find one. Anybody know whether they exist and where I can find one?

Thanks for your help.

Don't ever recall seeing one anywhere. All the 'humped' safties I ever saw were beavertailed.

Me either. I have never even heard of one.

I do know that a few guy welded and dressed down their own early renditions of the 'hump', so maybe that is an option for you? Jim Stroh could do it for you but he is pricey and has a waiting list...

Thanks, guys, that's the answer I was expecting but, you know, hope springs eternal.

You can make one yourself. Get a regular beaver tail version, file off the sides, weld-up the back-end, and shape it with a file. Then beadblast and finish. It will be a piece of cake. Go to your local welder. He'll do it for a beer.
