I am looking to purchase a used micro loaded. It is $750 and appears to be in good condition. When I visited the Springfield Armory website, I don't see advertisement for this compact .45. So a few questions:

1. Is this model discontinued now?
2. Is the lifetime warranty offered transferrable?
3. Would you say $750 is a fair price for good condition model? (I believe it comes with 2 mags; from what I found online this price is significantly lower than new....but I have not seen these at gunshows)
4. Anything I should be looking for while inspecting it further (I have read a few posts for issues so far, but I could always use additional input)

Thank you in advance.

This isn't what I am looking to buy, but it looks like the one in the picture w/o the lights:

No. A buddy of mine bought one last Saturday, NIB. The new ones have a tiny bit of a light rail, I believe.

Maybe. I would call Springfield for a definitve answer on this one.

Does it have night sights? If so, then yes, it's a good price. If it only has 3-dots, it's a bit too high, IMO.

Just the usual items: lock-up tightness, slide to frame slop/lack of, grittiness in the trigger, etc. etc.

I own one of these & use it for my CCW. They're perfect for that with the small size & alloy frame. I also suggest using the Chip McCormick 7rd OACP mags for an extra rd. I carry their 10rd mag as a back-up mag.
