Has anyone attempted to look for aftermarket Tritiums / Glow sights and if so, what did you go with?

The only ones I have been able to find come directly from Taurus and are the same Heinie sights, only in tritium.

I have been told that the PT1911 uses the same sight as the Taurus 24/7, but I cannot confirm that.

Heinie makes Straight 8 and Slant Pro night sights for the PT1911.

I personally dont like the sight picture that the "8" provides. It seems that I'll have to live with it. That's the price of not getting a Kimber/Springfield I guess. The firearm functions great as I've had it over a year and fired over a case through it.

Otherwise, I guess, I'll get the heinie night sights since at least I can get somewhat of a sight picture in the dark.
