First of i'd like to say hi to everybody, this is a great site! I have a Springfield Hi-Cap 1911-A1 and I was looking to replace the grip panels, does anyone know where you can get some or if there even avalible?

I've heard tell that Para grips can be modified to fit, but I don't know what exactly that entails.

Otherwise I think you might be out of luck.

SA high cap do not use STD 1911 grips.

The gun is verry simular to a para, so maybe some of there high cap grips will work, if anyone makes any.

Most of the time I see paras with nothing more than grip tape for grips.

I know Houge makes rubber wrap around grips for the Para wide body, I might just give those a try. There cheap enough if I mess them up I wont be out much!

Better yet email SA and ask.

When I had a question on replacing the trigger, I was told a Para type trigger would be the one I need.

Just about every other inernal part is std 1911, less magazine release. Slide stop may be different.

Magazines are 100% interchangable with para. as well as magazine funnels,
