I did and i am in love, today i picked up a sa mc operator nib. i am so stoaked, this is a sweet pistol everything about it is nice. this pistol has been on my dream gun list for a long time and i finally got it. this model had the package deal the holster and the mag carrier i will not use the holster but the mag carriers are ok and i will use that for the time being.

fit and finish: i thought these things looked great online but they are a whole other story in person. the color is awesome, the green and black and the pacmeyer grips are amazing. they are thin but not to much, they are the perfect size. the finish is even and well applied. it is the armory kote which i highly regard my xd service is finished in it. the rail is well doen and precise there isn't a single flaw in the workmanship and overall look at all. the slide and frame fit are tight, but move smoothly.

trigger: i don't have a scale and i am not good at judging weight but this is a nice crisp trigger. i like it alot and was suprised how nice it was. just as good as any of the stock kimbers i have shot.

accuracy: this thing outshoots me, but i think with a little bit of work me and this pistol are gonna be hard to handle. there were many one hole groups at 10 and 15yds strong hand only off hand any way i did it the rds went where i wanted them. again impressed. i have some pics of the targets to share when i up load em.

i only had 150rds with me of remington umc 230gr fmj, and the gun and the original 2 7rd factory mags worked flawlessly.

the gun also came with the loaded coupon so i wil be stocking up on sa factroy mags and i am also very excited about that, as i will need many mags and lots of ammo.

i will have pics asap, and more info if needed for you guys and i will be sure to keep ya'll up to date over time with the guns performance and such. this is a priliminary report and wanted to post it asap. thanks to everyone here in helping me mak the decision.

A few things to mention:

I'd suggest saving your money on the mags if you're looking for 8 rounders. I've not had a whole lot of luck with the SA mags except for the standard 7 rounders. For 8 rounders, I go to McCormick or Wilson.

If you decide you still want the magwell you mentioned in the other thread, order a magwell/MSH combo and remove the ILS at the same time. Your trigger shoulder be slightly lighter and will likely have a better feel to it.

There is a very good chance Wilson mags will not fit your gun.  Go with McCormick or Novak (several people have their name on the Novak mag).

Post a photo!

ok you asked for em here they are the pics! woo hoo!

right after the trip to the range still has carbon on the end of the frame.

the rail with the slant cut to match the cocking serations

rail bottem view

all the goodies extended safety, beavertail, cocking serrations

mag well, wide but the grips are nice and thin like i wanted

beveled mag well not much but a little and i will probally get a new msh and funnel later.

14rds at 10yds first group of the day, still need to get aquanted better with it.

here is a target at 15yds on the top bundle of rds there is 14rds a few flyers but thats alright. on the bottom group that is 28rds. groups consisted of rapid fire double taps, reflexive fire, push out, what ever i did the rds went where i wanted them.

btw the night sights are nice and bright, i was able to see them very well once i got home and the sun went down i am very happy and couldn't be more pleased.
