I've got 3800 rounds on a TLE/RL II that I picked up new in August.  The only issue I had was a few ever popular false lockbacks due to the crap slide stop.  Dropped in a Wilson and the problem went away.  It's been a great training gun and I'm going to begin abusing it's twin brother next week.

Just sold a SS TLEII for $575 w/ ~2,500-3,500 rounds down the pipe.

Good pistol, only had a few misfeeds that whole time and that includes a stint in IDPA.

If you can get it for less than $600, I say go for it.

i love mine; over 1k in rnds, only a couple failures, mostly mag and re-loaded ammo related...and that problem i had the swartz safety (i'd advise you either remove it or always ensure its working properly)

other than that, they are great 1911s; if its for a "great" price--what is it btw?--i'd pick it up

i'd rather not tell the price for OPSEC reasons... i don't trust other PA users...

but it's under $600 (and less than 50% of the MSRP on Kimber's site)

i was playing around with it the other night... don't know about round count or anything... but the slide to frame is still very night... no significant wear on any of the parts... the trigger is as crisp as my eclipse... and there is no holster wear or marking on the stainless...

i am still trying to gather up some cash...

it wasn't a TLE... but a like new Stainless II...

which in fact ended up being even better b/c i wanted a smooth front strap and i was ditching the factory sights anyway... my friend (gunsmith) even did a trigger job on it for me...

6 shots under a quarter at 10yds seems to be a good deal...

Kimber Stainless II
Trigger Job
50rds 45 ACP

just under $500... think i did good?

internal extractor
although my eclipse with the external extractor works just fine...

i put my eclipse back to stock, swapped out the hogue wraparound grips for the gunner grips i had... now i have a set of novak sights (plain rear lo mount, tritium front), ed brown b/t, and SS MSH on the way...

this is pretty much going to be the EXACT 1911 i wanted to build over the summer... only for less than half the price... around $600 for the 1911 and the addons... i should have everything in my hands by wednesday... i'll start a new thread with pics then
