Man, I love these stupid Norincos.  They're a little crunchy and rough but they're always a solid value and they've got the proper Colt-style cocking serrations!

This one is about as new as they get.  It didn't come with a box or spare magazine but it still had packing grease in the extractor tunnel.  It's got no finish wear on the breech face or the recoil spring guide.  I'll see if I can't rectify that soon.

Looks very nice, I'd love to find me another one.

How much did it set you back?

Great price, I would have bought it for that too.

How are the Norinco's for custom project host's? Are their internals substandard or ok for a foundation or a build?

The Norinco's are great for a build, the only issue at all is that the steel is pretty hard making it more work to dovetail for sights.

I think Norincos are good host guns for projects; I used an Argentine Colt Sistema frame and barrel for my 1911A1 GI pistol and it worked like a charm; all USGI Parts, including a Colt WW2 slide.

Not bad, huh?

As far as I know, all the Norincos came with chromed barrels, inside and out.

I always thought your's was a Springfield GI with the correct grips installed.  I guess I never looked close enough.  Yes, that is nice and I'm more impressed now.

I actually owned a Springer GI; then I bought this one and decided to sell the Springer for parts.
