Not the best pic but I can't quit smiling so I thought I would share.

Special Combat Government 45ACP Hard Chrome

I've been wanting one for a long time. I traded my NIB S70 Satin Nickel Government Model for it but instead of having a gun I would never shoot, I now have one that I will shoot a lot.

How much would that set someone back, if you dont mind saying? I am really thinking hard on trading a USP in toward a Colt

They range in cost from about $1300-1695 depending on finish from what I have seen on the web.

All my 1911s are Colts but I do have Rugers in both auto and revolver (and one Uberti !).

I hope all the 1911 aficionados (and the Mods !) will forgive me for this pic in this forum.
