| A cop buddy of mine is selling a used Wilson Combat Classic for $1700.00. This thing looks brand new. I have a Taurus PT 1911 but this one looks SWEET. I want to get into IPSC and IDPA so I think this would be a better gun for this. Question is should I get it? Is Wilson that good??/ Thanks Gunny |
| There are a few equivalents but there is nothing better than Wilson Combat for production pistol or semi custom. I have a Wilson. My biggest complaint is that every time I pick up a nonwilson I realize how much the gun sucks by comparison. Seriously... I just started picking up some production model Colts, and I wish I did that a few years earlier so that I could have enjoyed their workmanship more. It IS an unfair comparison and all, but they are just slop by comparison. |
