I am thinking about buying a Springfield Stainless Target from a friend of mine and I have a question. How important is the frame to slide fit? The frame to slide fit seems to be sloppy to me. The barrel lockup to the slide is tight. Is this a problem? Will it affect accuracy?

Slide to frame fit = not very important

Barrel fit, barrel bushing fit = important

From what you say about this gun, I wouldn't worry about it.

How does it shoot?

Barrel to slide lock up is what's important.
