Should I lower and flare the port? This is a project gun and ejects shells all over. Its a 1960 Sistema contract Colt slide in grade 3 condition and will be refineshed when done. |

An "unfuckered" Ejection port is the firearms equivalent of a bullet bra and real nylons on your old lady: Pure, old-school class. I am proud to have more 1911s without the L&FEP than with.  I don't know what you have in the toybox already, but re-parking yourself a full A1 clone is the only way to go. |
