Need advice on a Colt .45 > 1911 Discussions

At the gunshow I saw a Colt 1991A1 Serious 80 with a Ross Shoulder holster and 4 Chip McCormick 10rd magazines. The gun is parkerized with a blue barrel and looks almost brand new. The grips are wooden and checkered. The guy wants $450 for it. What do you guys thing?

Could you elaborate on that perhaps? Do you mean that it is a good deal or a bad deal if I were to buy it?

It's a very good price and they are nice guns. I'd buy it for that with no problem. Check it over well and if it's truly used little buy it.

In regards to my earlier comment, I thought the price seemed low - probably because i am used to gunshows in anti-gun states where everyone is over-pricing their merchandise.

That's a nice looking gun, glad it worked out for you. Have you shot it yet ?

I thought the price was low as well when the guy told me $450. I asked if he would take $400 and he said yes. I was expecting to hear something in the $500-$600 range. I was more than happy to pay much less.

I have yet to shoot it but this is not the first 1911 I have had or shot. This one does seem to fit better than the Norinco 1911 I had and I will probably shoot in this next Sunday if the weather is fair.
