I finally got this gun back from Clark's Custom after a 5 month wait.   I thought I would post some pics.

Very nice.

The Target Match is a fantastic 1911 - though mine has destroyed the factory mag and a Wilson mag (last round fte - round jams into the top lips of the mag).  It only has about 500 rounds through it, so I'm hoping it's just a break-in issue.

What all did you have done?

edit \\\ the fte issue seems to only happen when I shoot it - might be limp-wristing and not realizing it.

Thing is an absolute tack-driver, and the slide serrations, etc. are all amazing.

I had their accuracy job done and trigger job.  The pistol from Kimber was seriously lacking.  I should have sent it back to them from the get go but since Clarks was in my state I sent it there.  Out of the box the trigger was horrible and the slide to frame fit sucked.  I had Clarks fit a Ed Brown Grip Safety while it was there.

Good Looking Piece!

What kind of accuracy did you get prior to Clarks?

I did not have a ransom rest to test but the Clark barrel and bushing they installed fits way tighter that the Kimber bushing and barrel.  The slide to to frame fist is also much tighter.

When you say it sucked - too tight, or too loose?

I could barely move mine it was so tight

No.  It was way to loose.  It was not at all what I expected from the "Target Match" Limited Edition.
