I'm thinking of trading in a 1911 to fund another gun purchase. I'm going to take it to a gun show and maybe a few shop's. It's a Colt 1991 compact. Stock except for a full length guide rod and an extended slide release. I'll be trying to sell it with it's 4 Wilson Combat 7 round mags.If I have to I could sell them seperate. I have another 1911 and don't carry this one anymore. |
| I have found that a little research on gunbroker.com or gunsamerica.com can help you decide what the going rate for a particular modle is. You might not find an exact match, but you should be able to find a few that are very similar in condition. At least you will get a good idea of what other people are asking. |
