Is the holster that comes with any good? Looks to me like it would not hold a pistol very secure.

there is an allen screw that you can tighten or loosen. NOTE i slipped my NEW milspec into the holster and it was fucking impossible to get out..............until i looked at it and saw the allen screw and loosened it. As far as the quality of the holster, it does its job......not the best and not the worst, personaly i dont use mine.

Got it today, i have not been able to fire it yet but i must say the trigger leaves alot to be desired.

This sucks. When I bought my G.I. all I got was the box, one mag and cleaning brush. That was last year.

It does not have a loaded chamber indicator or a cable lock. It says in the mauel that all SA pistols come with both.

It also has a decal on the case that says [ LEO sales only]

Springfields web site says that several of their upper end models do have loaded chamber indicators

My Loaded has a small cutout on the top of the chamber so you can visually see the brass rim of the case. I imagine this is their version of a loaded chamber indicator.

My TRP has the same cutout. It is exactly like the one on a Kimber.

According to SA, that's the loaded chamber indicator, but I can't see shit unless it's in bright, direct sunlight. I'd rather do a press check.
