Wow, Radio Shack is selling PT 1911's now!?

What's Radio Shack got to do with anything? That's a Magpul box that had my CTR stock in it

LOL It looked like a Radio Shack box.

That's one sweet looking mil-spec.  I'm assuming it's a "NM" serialed gun.  Congrats on an awesome build

Thanks.  It will be my duty gun after I put 1k rounds through it, replacing an O'Hara built Springfield with a Surefire MR07 rail and X200b, hard chrome by Tripp.  It has 20k rounds through it, and will be used as a training gun, and backup for the VT should the VT be held after a shooting.

Nothing wrong with that, that is a damn fine place to start!  Same piece I started my 1911 collection with.

My dad just brought this home. Now I gotta find something to trade him.
It'a an AMT Hardballer Longslide.

As I understand it, the guy who built it could not get it the way he wanted so opted to sell it and start over.
Clark barrel, throated and polished, MGW bushing, custom slide release and safety release and commander hammer, MICRO sights, beveled mag well with checkered mainspring housing unit, adjustable trigger / trigger job, and custom stocks plus full length engraving

It's full of Wilson and Ed Brown parts and is really smooth and tight.
Not like most AMT's I played with.

WOW!  That's a beautiful gun.  It deserves more pictures.  How long is that barrel?

SA WW2 GI, just got it back from having the frame/slide tightened and the sights put on.  Novak tritium target front, YoBo Retro rear.  I just need to finish stippling the front strap and then beadblast it and reblue!
