Got my year-end bonus today and it was enough that I could splurge on a new Wilson CQB. I have spent the last two years fixing my Kimber and finally had enough. I am looking forward to owning a gun that is built well and will actually shoot to point of aim. |
Great choice, does the Kimber work well enough for a back-up? If not, junk it and get more ammo ;) |
Before: Some mods, upgraded grips, EB bushing, EB 2-piece guide rod, EB snakeskin MSH, wilson bulletproof slide stop. Not bad with all the mods, but still shoots 3" high and to the left at 7 yards. After:   This one is SMOOTH. Slide to frame is awesome, nice finish, crisp trigger. This will go to the range on the weekend. |
