| I have a colt series 80 officers model handgun. My problem is if you are to try and pull the slide back with the barrel facing up (empty of course) it seems like something is in the way and wont. It very rarely occurs when you have it facing downrange. Any help and or suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks... |
| i'm not sure how closely the s80 firing pin safety compares to the kimber firing pin safety, but i know that my kimber originally had issues where the pin sticking out of the frame would get hung up on the slide causing the slide to stick. it only happened if i let the slide back slowly; you may be having the same issue?? |
