[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Springfield 1911a1 double stack .45

I seem not to be able to locate one of these on the intermet. Am I mistaken? Does it exist? Can't seem to find a web page with one of these on it (Springfield). Thanks in advance for any assistance.....

I had the model previous. When I got my 3rd frame I sold it and bought an STI.

Saw one for sale recently on some company's website. If I'm not mistaken it looked like a double stack version of the GI/Mil-Spec series. It was running just over $500 IIRC

Ya know...I was on the Springfield site and went to most of the 1911 sub-links but not to the GI 45 one. Just didn't think the double stack would be in that catagory. Really, thanks alot goof Sir....
