I would like to replace my factory Kimber Meprolight NS with some Novak Lo-Mount NS on my Ultra CDP and my Tactical Custom II pistols. Can the rear alone be changed W/O a change in impct or do I have to replace both F & R? I'm guesiing they will not be the same height unless both are replaced? Will the Novak's be to high above bore for say, 10 ring shots once installed? Ex,... Install Novak and the pistols now shoot too high or low at PB to 15 yds? |

I never had a problem on the two Kimber's I've put Novak sights on. You just need to find out which height sight your gun should have (It's probably a .165) and see if your stock sight is that height. I ended up milling out my front dovetail to accept the standard Colt style sights so I'm not bound to Kimber replacement stuff which is often only one height. I can look up the height of the front sight I put on mine if it helps. Edit... I have a .175 on my Kimber with the Novak rear. |
