Thinking about setting up a new carry gun and was going to start with an Essex frame. You guys ever work with any Essex stuff? |
Caspain and Essex get their Frames cast at the Ruger Lone Pine facility so essentialy they are the same thing, just differant brand names.  I am considering doing a build for the .460 Rowland and i called Clarks Custom to find out if the essex would be stout enough because they have several disclaimers about 1911's that are not suitable for the 460 Rowland, but they told me that there would be no problem with it. So I assume they are pretty good basic starting platforms.  Right now i am in the middle of a few to many projects so i have to wait till I get some finished before I start a new one. |
If your get the time let me know how the .460 Rowland comes out,I was looking at then too. |
