| I got a pair of these the other day and are really rough. I was told you can sand them down to my liking. What type of sand paper do I use ? Which Grit ? |
I don't know those grips but I like garnet paper for sanding. As you use it, the garnet crumbles and the grit size gets progressively smaller and smaller (the paper gets smoother). You might think it's wearing out (and it is) but it is also taking you to a finer finish without needing 16 (a slight exaggeration  ) different grits in stock.
