Anyone ever looked thru this? Just picked up a copy [1980] at the gunshow for a few bucks. Kenneth Hallock author. Sort of a cheap made book but lots of good info in it and [so so pics] shows problem areas. Shows tune ups, trigger jobs, mods and misc info. If you have a 1911 and run across this book for a few dollars it is well worth it, poor pic quality and all. |
| Lots of old school stuff in there. I started reading that in 86, if memory serves. I would lamost say it's a great book for the complete beginner that will make it easier to understand some of the stuff in Kuhnhausen's books. I gave mine away to a friend, but it's not a bad book at all. |
