[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Help Needed in Deciding Which 1911

I have a credit at my dealer and can't decide which 1911 to put in the same. I will begin by saying I currently have a Colt 70 Series 1* (Yo-Bo) that I carry on a regular basis. I am looking at the Springfied Armory MC Operator and the Smith and Wesson Gunsite model. What should I get, the tatical gun or one for ease of carry?

if dont own a commander yet, get that

if you already have the carry model, get the full size Tactical...h/w, i would highly recommend the SW for carry--light and smooth shooting

I'd go for the Springfield; you already have a carry one, now go with a tactical one. Besides, the Operator looks mighty nice. (except for the Pachmyr Grips)
