Alright,
I'm heading up to my friendly FFL next week to pick up a rifle.....and a pistol .  Now, I'm keeping the possibility of a Springfield XD45.  BUT I also got to thinking...."I don't have a Colt 1991" ( I have two of the 70 series though ) so if I go the NIB 1991 route should I go for the 5" or the commander (I don't have any commander length 1991s)?

THEN I got a lead on a LNIB (fired only 30 rounds) Delta Elite for $800.

So which would you choose?

Delta Elite, if ya have 2 70 series, then why get another .45 unless you plan on having someone customize it?  10mm sounds fun

LNIB Delta for $800?  That's not a tough decision!

I'd go with a Colt Gold Cup if I had the $$$.

Strangely, the Gold cup never really "did it" for me.

I would go with the Commander.

So far the poll is saying 5" 1991.  I may go that route since it seems like the price (NIB) is $500 .  That Delta seems awfully nice though...Jeez........

Isn't that like $300 more than a 70 series?

You can always get a 5" 1991 later. LNIB Delta Elites are getting harder to find, especially for $800. Get the Delta!

My Second choice would be a 1991 Commander. I actually prefer the commander size a tad bit more and seeing how you don't have one yet, well...
