Are they the same as the 1911 or are are they different...My uncle has tasked me with finding some mags b/c he misplaced the two magazines that he didi have  ...Dont ask me how but he did. Anyway He said that the Double Eagle has different nmagazines than the 1911 I and not sure he is right  . Does anybody know for sure?? any help would be appreciated...also where would be a good place to buy them? thanks

I have bought the Mitchell brand mags from CDNN w/o problem and they also sell CMC mags as well as MEC GAR at times. Besides, as far as I know Colt doesn't make mags for their 1911s.
