What's your opinion of how the frontstrap on a 1911 should be treated? Do you like checkering? If so how many LPI? Plain? One of the new alternate treatments?

My Operator TRP has huge, pointy checkers. Id guess 10 LPI and pointy. I didnt like it when I got it but now I love it. It does not move and gives excellent front end control. If I were to get another 1911 I'd have it checkered the same.
