A local FFL that I know personally, has been trying to get rid of the majority of what he has in stock for a while now. He told me to come over and take a look at what he had, since I know him and have given him a lot of business, he said he would give me a discount.

Anyways, he had a NIB Springfield Mil-Spec that caught my eye, and sold it to me today, along with two extra Chip McCormick 8rd mags, for $350 (plus $10 for the background check)

I think I did pretty good, should make for a good "fixer-upper"

I just thought I would share

I didnt know they were that expensive wholesale, I was expecting about $400-$425. I did better than I thought I did, I should go get the other two he had for that price.

$400 wholesale sounds about right...Kiesler's, who is the highest gunshop I have ever seen, was sellling them at around $450..

They are not hard to find around here, the same guy I got this one from has two more of them and a Springfield GI. Maybe I should go acquire them all at that low price.....

lol, got that. I'm up to Coors number 3(24oz) right now. Beer is easy, handguns are a little harder to swing.
