What, if anything can be done with the Mil. contract mags to change the follower and have it hold 8 rnds. The floor plates have 4 spot welds on them. Does anyone have any experience doing this? Thanks in advance!

wouldn't it just be cheaper and more convienent and simpler to just BUY some 8rn mags that were designed to work off hand to reliably feed and hold 8rnds?

if you were to convert, i think that you would have to change the springs anyways...
