I looked around and didnt see this asked as far back as a few pages, and am wondering what the best place to find used or even NIB 1911s (looking for a forum that allows gun sales.) I just checked out www.1911forum.com and they wont allow gun sales, so I thought I would ask here if you all knew of any good spots. Thanks. |

www.louderthanwords.us/forum/ is heavy on the 1911, but also heavy on the high end stuff. www.glocktalk.com is Glock heavy, but you can find some gems there from time to time. www.thehighroad.org is pretty decent as well for handguns. Honestly though, I've seen more good deals on a wider variety of price and quality levels here at the arfcom equipment exchange than anywhere else for the 1911. |
