Well, theres been about 2 months of hardcore searching here, trying to find my next 1911 style pistol. So far I have used an old school Springfield ( not sure which 1), a Colt gold cup, a newer springfield trp professional, a kimber target match, and another kimber( not sure which 1). 1 of my dislikes about all of these guns is the trigger guard, mainly that its just too small, I cant comfortably move my trigger finger from the slide, to the trigger, with out a serious conflict in intrest. Now, i dont know if my hands are just too big for this type of gun or what. Another problem here, And probly the most important, is that i havent fallen head over heals for any of em. Im not looking to carry every day, im looking mainly for something precise, and acurate enough to be competition worthy. Durring my search, the only gun that i handled that felt great in my hand was the sig x5, but thats just a lil pricy, + the extra mags cost around $90. The only other gun, that i know of, to fit what im looking for might be an STI, but i have yet to handle 1. If any 1 has other suggestions, Im more than willing to try. thanx. |
