I believe current Springfield 1911 pistols come with blued 7-round magazines.  If anyone has some of these factory blued 7-round magazines you are not using (because you switched to Wilson magazines or some other brand), then I would be interested in buying those factory blued 7-rd magazines from you.  Let me know what you have...

Most of use just use the old bodies (welded bottoms) and change out the follower and springs to the wilson type 47's to turn them into 8 rounders.

If you just want blue 7 rounders, you should be able to pick them up for around $10 new in a group buy somewhere.

If he doesn't take you up on this, I will. These are the same mag bodies as shooting stars. I have 20 of the mags. Replace the the stock springs with Wolffs extra power spring. and you got a hell of a reliable mag.

I e-mailed you earlier today, effinNewGuy.  BTW, Springfield uses Metalform mags, not CMC/Shooting Star.

Shooting Stars and the Springers are Metalform bodies, Shooting Stars has a extra visual hole. Take a look side by side. only the followers are different.

I bought 4 USGI's for $15 I think.  They were brand new in the wrap.  Never had the first problem with any of them in my Springfield.
