[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Colt Model

I have a Colt Commander model. Not a Elite, but just as I said.

This is all it says on the slide. I want to get a set of Houge Grips.

I called Houge, They tell me that Colt Did Not make a Model such as this.

Need to know how to find out this model, so I may order the grips.

Any help on this, I Thanks You.

The Colt Commander takes standard Government Grips.

+1, Combat commander/commander. I have a blued commander model also, that is all it says. It is not a lightweight but a steel framed 1911, like the combat commander. Reg grips and mags are used.
