I'm a newbie and was wondering how much grip space is sacrificed between kimber's pro and compact 1911 frames. Is their enough space on the compact for your full hand?

I wear an X large glove and they fit tight but I have no problem getting a full grip on the compact frame.

Thanks that may be my deciding factor for a carry gun. I'll have to see one at the local shop. I just hate not having a full grip, especially with a lightweight gun, I'm looking at the kimber cdp
