I finally bought a NRM COLT just recently. I'm just begining to become familiar with disassembly and reassembly procedures, but have been having a helluva time cuz it seems that the 1911 sure has more parts than the 9mm BHP, which is what I'm used to. Well, I finally received the Wilson video and it has helped me TREMENDOUSLY in getting to know my 1911 and how to appropriately detail strip it. If you're new to the 1911 game and want to quickly learn how to detail strip your pistol, this is the video to get. Oh, and by the way, I also bought the Wilson manual, but the video, at least for me, was tons better; however, the manual does have a maintnence and lubrication section that was useful. In true ARFCOM fashion I couldn't help it and GOT both. Money well spent. |
