Anybody have one?  Pros/cons.  I love the look and factory night sights.  Ive seen quite a few for sale for $700 ish.  Im wondering why they are selling them.  I want to get a threaded barrel and supresor for one.  Ive read the slide is a different profile and larger, are they heavy?  My friends wife knows someone who works there and said there discontinuing it.

Pros lot of gun for the money, checkered front strap, ambi safety(not a fan of the new style prefered the older style) ect./cons. the trigger on mine is possibly the worst trigger I have ever felt on a handgun EVER(My Tac-Ops trigger is great

If you have a chance to get one for 700 or so get it, you can get a new trigger or a trigger job IF you need one and still be ahead. As I said the Trigger on my Tac-Ops is great my Scorpion however is HORRIBLE sloppy, creepy, shit reset. But the night sites, front strap checkered, ambi safety make up for a lot. I bought the Tac-Ops and Scorpion at the same time both with threaded barrels, the first chance I get I'm selling the Scorpion and will not miss it in anyway.

It's okay. It seems hit or miss with reliability, mine needed the chamber reamed and it works well now. I am not surprised they are going for 7-800. That's about what I would sell mine for if I did.

My Scorpion has a very nice trigger. Probably the best factory trigger pull for a non custom pistol. It functions just fine with no issues.

I don't buy that story about being discontinued. It's just a regular Sig 1911 with the Hogue grips and Cerakoat finish. No other differences. If they are selling why would they stop making them?

I have the carry model. Love it and that price is a deal.

Had the scorpion emperor and it had a very nice trigger, only issues were with 185gr swc reloads but everything else was fine. My buddy bought the regular scorpion and it would fail to feed with everything and various high quality mags Wilson, cmc etc. they seem hit or miss as far as functionality

I had one along with a Tacops.  Both were really nice.   My only complaint was that for a 1911, it felt somewhat clunky due to the slide profile.

$700 sounds like a good deal
