| Anybody have one that works ? I have a shitty one, some no name brand and its scraping the frame rails. Recomendations please....... |
|
When I say "Crappy"..... It looks good. It's stainless, two piece with a plug and allen wrench. It worked fine at first but, after refinishing the gun, the backing lug is rubbing on the frame and the slide. I can feel it binding when I assemble it. And then, I cross threaded it a little bit and munched the end of the thread. I tried to fix that with a file and the little bit of thread that was damaged cracked off and fell away. It's pretty crappy. |

The BUL/Kimber one Brownell's sells is a good part. There is no reason IMO to own a two piece rod, they are nothing but a pain in the ass. |

I like the extra weight at the muzzle. To each his own. |
