How are you guys liking them? Considering one as an occasional carry gun and range plinker but I've never had a LW framed 1911 before. How are they for recoil/follow up as well as wear?

I don't have one, but have had aluminum frames before. You have to watch for wear and for cracks in the frame. If you plan to shoot it a lot, better to get something with a steel or stainless frame.

I have a RO Compact 45ACP, its a little snappy but not over whelming.
