1911's are a given towards  personal attributes via grip panels. For the sake of future owners wishing to put together certain material and color themes...Please post pic's of what you have.

I"m still looking for a host for a set of Esmeralda Cocobolo's .

ETA: Two-tone Afzelia Burl from Zane Thompson of Lone Star Grips.

They aren't the best looking grips out there, but I really like these for hard use.

I'm normally a wood, double diamond kind of guy, but I went a different route on the Colt Rail Gun my son gave me for Christmas. VZ Valkyries for a kind of techno look.

After taking the synthetic plunge on the Colt I decided to add a little color to the Springfield Champion Operator. Went with Raasco for this one.

Ergo XT grips, my Sig 1911 Carry Nitron came with the same. I bought a set before and put them on a Springer Milspec, they are actually the best bang for the buck.

Dan Wesson RZ45 Heritage with Hogue Extreme G10 double diamond grips in black. Scored the grips here for $25 from a seller that thought they were gray. Took a gamble and figured they were black and just needed to be cleaned and oiled. Sure enough

LOKgrips, my absolute favorites, bar none. Getting a set of their new "G-wood" series soon.
I like how they're rounded well to the frame (any noticeable flat-ridge on the edge of the grip annoys me)
Also thumbs up and endorsements to Raasco grips, esmeralda, and VZ
