Is there a railed CCO out there?  I have been looking but can't seem to find anyone who makes one...

I haven't seen any that weren't custom built.  I've been thinking about building one myself.

Wilson combat makes a CCOish with rail.  Its a compact frame with rail and 4" bull barrel.  Not a true CCO, but pretty close to it.

I just sent off a set of slides and frames for builds to someone - I can say that caspian will/can make you a CCO with a rail on it.

Want pics later?

ETA: it's in 9mm too.
I've nicknamed it the playtpus, for its wacky features not always seen in one place

Pics or it didn't happen

For real though, I'm really wanting to see this.  I'm considering getting an aluminum railed officer Caspain frame with serrated front strap and integral plunger tube paired with either a stainless or carbon slide with serrated flat top, lowered and flared port, novak cuts, french border, and either a ball cut or no cut slide.

With fullsize frame I got:

Blurry but good:

Took out my serial, because perhaps it has my initials

I went with a steel frame - I've been told, "The moment you shoot your 9mm 1911, you're going to start shooting it a lot."
Realizing I wanted to shoot it a ton, and that carry is basically forbidded in my state, so "all day carry" weight is not a consideration, (size and variety were), I went with a steel one.
I do have the integral plunger tube as you see. Carbon slide too, flat topped. Sights not cut yet.
I think that's the recon radius on the slide

I don't think 9mm is going to be nearly as hard on an aluminum frame as .45 is, especially in the shorter guns where everything happens harder and faster than on a Government model.

I'm inclined to agree on that, I don't believe 9mm would be as hard on a frame as .45, but I do believe carbon steel is stronger than aluminum "All else being equal."
My hope is that I can pass this down to kids/grandkids one day
I'd prefer a higher round count frame life if possible - considering how I'm in a state where I can't carry this gun anyway

It's on "who is that at the door? I don't recognize them.." Duty
